The Beauty of the Gratitude Journal

Thank you.

Thank you. You say it the stranger who held the door for you, the barista at the coffee shop, your kids when they clean up their rooms but how often do you say thank you to yourself? How often do you say thank you for the things we so often take for granted? The simple act of saying thank you out loud relieves tension and creates an energy of abundance. If you’re looking to create more abundance and feel less tension (and let’s be real, aren’t we all?) Then starting a Gratitude Journal is a quick and effective way of doing so.

A gratitude journal doesn’t have to be a time consuming, brain imploding journal habit or meditation. A sheet of paper and a few notations is all it takes to see results. Take 5 minutes a day and write down 5 things you are thankful for in that moment; your hot coffee, a nice meal, a chat with a friend, your ability to take a breath and refocus, making a goal, hitting a goal! Sometimes we forget that just waking up is something to be grateful about. Write it down, breathe it out, and see how quickly your list of Thankful grows! You can thank us later.
